Lincoln Electric Products Co., Inc. was founded in 1949 and moved to its present manufacturing facility in 1957. Initially Lincoln Electric presided in a 25,000 square foot building with five employees.

Through intense dedication of founder Irving Leff, Lincoln Electric grew into the most respected Switchboard and Panelboard manufacturer in New York Metropolitan Area. Our growth necessitated many changes. In 1974, we added 30,000 square feet to our manufacturing facility and our staff quadrupled in size.

Concerned with the future, a computerized order system unique to the electrical industry, was developed by Lincoln Electric and incorporated into its business in 1986. The following year, its engineering department installed its first CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) System, to help maintain its reputation for its engineering expertise and leadership.

The next step in our modernization plan was the installation of Trumpf Trumatic 240 CNC Machine in 1988 (a second such machine was intalled in 1999). This along with computerizing many of our other machines in our factory will help further guarantee Lincoln's efficiency and accuracy.

Today, Lincoln Electric is one of the largest independent Switchboard and Panelboard Manufacturers in the New York Metropolitan Area, with a staff that now reaches forty employees. Although our major market is New York City, our equipment can be found across America in many of the most prestigious commercial office buildings.
